Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up messes. The best robot vacuums and mop I test had superior mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were strung up.
They're also simple to use with an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and see what they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a miniature map of your home and a few buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode based on the amount of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.
The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, such as a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to wash and clean it without you having to manually refill the mop. You can also use voice commands with the S8's built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that can also mop. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping capabilities that are priced lower than other models.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to get started, including setting up an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate image of your living space. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it needed to turn to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an appliance that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned, not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.
The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa as well as a few other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's environment and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you customize various settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and put the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. The battery life is long enough to remove large areas without the need for an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology was effective and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing and staying clear of stairs. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and didn't always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Internet Page operating noise level is also very high, which means this model may not be as simple to set and forget as other models.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes upkeep easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available on the market. It delivers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. The app lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones and modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, which allows seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean. It can also reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your space which allows it to know where not to go. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop) unlike other vacuums.
Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping that can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can skip mopping in rooms that aren't filthy. If you have several types of flooring in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features, this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can handle regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't pick up the tangled tassels of rugs and it's battery drains more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did extremely well overall. It also includes a wide selection of cleaning options to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It will even remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in small areas. It is very fast and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its competitors however it doesn't compromise features. It has decent suction power and can be set to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and aren't linked to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
